He graduated with a BFA in acting from the school, then he served as the Artistic Director of the Hidden Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it was in this position where his acting talents were on full display and he garnered numerous accolades and recognition. He was also quite active at this time as he was a regular performer in the Guthrie Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, Theater de la Jeune Lune, and Children’s Theater.
