Kelli is the daughter of actress Shannon Wilcox, and her now ex-husband John Williams, who worked as a plastic surgeon. Kelli has one brother, producer Sean Doyle, while she is also step-sister to Marc Rocco, Jennifer Rocco and Lucien Rocco, children of Alex Rocco, Kelli’s mother’s second husband.

Even before she learned how to speak, Kelli made a television appearance, as a diapers baby, and continued throughout her childhood to feature in several commercials. As she reached teen years, her ambitions became higher, and after high school focused fully on an acting career.

Kelli went to Beverly Hills High School, where she was quite focused on performing arts, and as a result landed the lead role of Julia in the school’s production of “Romeo and Juliet”, alongside Steve Burton.

She made her screen debut in the TV series “Beauty and the Beast” in 1989, followed by the role of Margaret Wilson in the made-for-television film “The Case of the Hillside Stranglers” in the same year. The next year Kelli portrayed Mattie Walker in the TV series “Elvis”, with Michael St. Gerard portraying the king of rock and roll.
