Bill started his career with “The Hudson Brothers”, a musical group that was formed in the 1970s, and the group found great success during that initial period – they were originally named “The New Yorkers” and after they had won a battle of the bands type of contest, were able to release various songs like “Mr. Kirby”, “Adrianne”, and “Land of Ur”. Sometime in the early 1970s they changed their group name to “Everyday Hudson”, releasing the song “Love is the Word”, then they shortened the name to “Hudson”, continuing to release songs for different companies. By 1974, they were finally able to get a record deal, and with that, had their name changed to that which they were best known by, “The Hudson Brothers”. Their net worth would steadily increase from this point. A few of the popular songs they released as part of their record deal were “Rendezvous” and “So You Are a Star”.
