Keith started earning popularity in the 1990s, when he began working as a reporter and writer on various television shows. He was a feature reporter on “The Ticket on TV” which was part KDFI. He was also part of “The Deion Sanders Show”, for which he was a writer and feature reporter. In 1997, he became a correspondent for the Texas Rangers baseball team broadcasts on Fox Sports Southwest. He also started a Buzz column on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram alongside Lisa Smith, and continued his journalism career as a contributing writer for the Dallas Observer which he did for several years. Gordon was also a correspondent for “Positively Texas” which was aired on KTVT. Other projects he was engaged in include authoring the parody book “Buff Tanner: Total Man’.

Gordon is also often referred to in the series “Justified” – which uses “Ticket” personalities as characters – as a ‘deceased mob assassin’, who links other supporting characters together.

For his personal life, it is unknown if Keith is, or has been married, nor are there any rumours of relationships. He has had several controversies over the course of his career; he was arrested by the Green Bay Police Department in 1997 due to trespassing at Lambeau Field, home of the NFL team the Green Bay Packers. He also had a feud with radio personality Nestor Aparicio and it led them to brawl during the 2009 Super Bowl week. Curiously, Gordon is also known to be a Lee Harvey Oswald enthusiast – the apparent assassin of President Kennedy in 1963 – becoming very vocal in various Oswald related events. He also went so far as to buy the Oswald’s bathtub from the estate, and proceeded to write about it.
