Guy Fieri spent most of his childhood in California. When he was a student in high school, he had an opportunity to be a Foreign Exchange Student, as a result of which he briefly lived in France, actually studying the cuisine, and this turned out to be a defining moment in Fieri’s life, as it inspired him to devote more time to cooking. Fieri began his career by working in various restaurants, and then enrolled at the University of Nevada, from where he graduated with a degree in hotel management. He then worked at “Stouffer’s” company, until in 1996 he co-opened a restaurant called “Johnny’s Garlic” with Steve Gruber. The first restaurant was opened in California, the second one in Windsor, while others were opened in Petaluma and Roseville. His net worth became well established.

Fieri really rose to prominence in 2006, when he took part in the reality television series “The Food Network Star”, presented by Marc Summers. Fieri participated in the second season of the show, where he beat Reggie Southerland to won the title of best chef. Since then, Fieri has been featured in a variety of television shows, including “Paula’s Party” with Paula Deen, “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” and “Ace of Cakes”. He has also launched several of his own shows, such as “Guy Off the Hook”, “Ultimate Recipe Showdown” and “Guy’s Grocery Games”, all contributing steadily to Guy’s rising net worth.

In regards to his personal life, Fieri has been married to Lori since 1995, and together the couple has two children, with whom they reside in Santa Rosa, California. Guy is a well=known collector of classic cars, particularly American Chevrolets, which no doubt add somewhat to his potential wealth.
