Max Martin Net Worth
Read more about Max Martin Biography
Max Martin was raised in Stenhamra, Ekerö Municipality, a suburb of Stockholm. While studying at high school, he attended the public music education program and was the vocalist in a number of bands. As a result, Max Martin dropped out of school with the view of pursuing a career in music which later added lots of money to the total size of his net worth.
Martin started working for Cheiron Studios in 1993. After learning some basics, he co-wrote with PoP the song “Wish You Were Here” (1994) for the Rednex, which became a hit across virtually the whole Europe. The two successfully created songs for the studio album “The Bridge” (1995), which has sold more than seven million copies around the world. After other outstanding songs, Martin started collaborating with Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and Celine Dion. He has written a number of hits like “..Baby One More Time” (1998), “(You Drive Me) Crazy” (1999), “Oops!… I Did It Again” (2000), “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman” (2002), and produced the albums “Blackout” (2007) and “Femme Fatale” (2011) for Britney.
Max Martin has also written and produced many songs for The Backstreet Boyz, including the legendary singles “I Want It That Way” (1999), “Shape of My Heart” (2000), and the album “Never Gone” (2005). Collaboration with Celine Dion resulted with “That’s the Way It Is” (1999), the promotion of the albums “All the Way… A Decade of Song” (1999) and “One Heart” (2003). All these efforts have added to Max’s net worth.
In addition, Max Martin has worked with many other artists including Cheiron Studios, Kelly Clarkson (the winner of American Idol), the Norwegian singer Marion Raven, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Jessie J, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, Tori Kelly among others. All the above mentioned collaborations with numbers of artists significantly increased the net worth of Max Martin. In fact, he has written and produced (most of them) 20 Billboard Hot 100 songs, which became top hits and currently is the third songwriter having the most top hit singles (after Paul McCartney who has 32 and John Lennon – 26). Again, his net worth benefited considerably.
Max is the mentor of many high powered songwriters, including Shellback, Dr. Luke and Savan Kotecha. Max won Swedish Dance Music Awards (1996) and Swedish Grammis Award (1997). He has been named the Songwriter of the Year by ASCAP eight times (1999 – 2001, 2011 – 2015). Martin is the winner of Grammy Award as the Producer of the Year (2015). Once again his net worth rose significantly.
Finally, in the personal life of Max Martin, he likes to keep it very private, but it is only known that he is married to Doris, and they have a daughter.
