Jet grew up in a Thai neighborhood in Los Angeles. During this time, he learned various Asian culinary methods from his grandmother. Eventually, he pursued his passion for the culinary arts, taking courses at the California Sushi Academy. He also took a course at Le Cordon Bleu. His skills would develop and soon more opportunities would open up for him which would increase his net worth. He started working as a chef, eventually opening his own establishments. He became the executive chef of “Pakpao Thai” and “The Charleston”, and his skills in cooking would also lead him to be invited to become a part of the Food Network.
Tila would take part in numerous cooking-related shows. He appeared as a judge during one season of the show “Chopped”, which is a cooking game show series that pits four chefs against each other in each episode, for a chance to win a $10,000 prize.
