Additionally, he spent a lot of time in Boys & Girls Club, where he challenged others to rap. He was a student of Design And Architecture High School, located in Miami, however, as he was expelled, he later on attended Miami Carol City Senior High School, where he was already working on his project, ‘’Nostalgic 64’’, so that in 2011, he released his first mixtape, ‘’King Remembered Underground Tape 1991–1995’’. He subsequently posted it to SpaceGhostPurrp’s page, which was a significant promotion for Curry, and he then joined SpaceGhostPurrp’s group, Raider Klan. His net worth was now established.
He followed by releasing yet another EP, ‘’King of the Mischievous South Vol. 1 Underground Tape 1996’’, which gained him a reputation and helped him get more attention, as he was noticed by Earl Sweatshirt. The EP consisted of 18 songs such as ‘’Slim Of The Magnolia Pyramids (R.I.P. Soulja Slim) No Limit’’ and ‘’ Twistin’’, and featured artists such as Ruben Slikk and Simmie, drawing a mostly positive response from the audience and critics. After that, Denzel worked on another project, ‘’Strictly for My R.V.I.D.X.R.S.’’, the mixtape that followed the death of Trayvon Martin, Curry’s schoolmate.
In 2013, Raider Klan fell through, and so Denzel began his solo career, releasing his first full length album – ‘’Nostalgic 64’’ – which featured 13 songs including ‘’Zone 3’’ and ‘’Parents’’, made in collaboration with artists such as J.K. the Reaper and Nell among others. Speaking about the production of the album, it was handled by Klvn Tyler, Rem, Ronny J, MarkMC9 and Poshstronaut, among others, and ultimately earned critical acclaim and was listed as one of the top 10 albums of 2013 by the Pitchfork Magazine’s Mike Madden.
Curry remained busy throughout the following years, most importantly releasing ‘’Imperial’’, his second album in 2016, featuring 10 songs and earning critical acclaim. In 2017, he released several demos including ‘’Hate Government [demo]’’ and ‘’Equalizer [demo]’’, still adding to his net worth.
