Randy taught himself to play the guitar, and started fronting his own band at the age of 10. He attended East Central Community College, and there formed the band called 10 lb. Biscuit. However, in his mid-20s he moved to Nashville to start a songwriting career. One of his first hits as a songwriter was entitled “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” which was recorded by Trace Adkins for his album “Songs About Me”. Later on, Randy would focus more on performing, and did various local gigs, and signed with MCA Nashville but did not release any songs.

In 2008, Houser signed with Universal South Records and released his first single – “Anything Goes”, which he performed on the “Late Show with David Letterman”, and the song would enter the Billboard country chart. His debut album “Anything Goes” was released in the same year, and the second single “Boots On” would become a top ten hit. His net worth started to increase at this point.

The following year he received two CMA Award nominations, and would then work on his second album “They Call Me Cadillac”. He wrote a few more charting songs during this period including “Whistlin’ Dixie” and “I’m All About It”, before in 2011 releasing “In God’s Time”, then signing with Broken Bow Records. The following year he released “How Country Feels”, which became his first song to hit the top of the Country Airplay chart. The album “How Country Feels” was released in 2013, and most of the songs would also hit the top of various charts. He then toured to promote the album and to support Luke Bryan, so his net worth continued to build thanks to his popularity.

In 2015 Randy released the single “We Went” which hit the top of the Country Airplay chart, then came the album “Fired Up”, after which he would tour to promote the album. The singles “Song number 7” and “Chasing Down a Good Time” followed, boosting his popularity and net worth.

For his personal life, it is known that Houser married Tatiana Starzynski in 2016 after a year-long engagement; she is the sister-in-law of singer Dallas Davidson. Randy previously married Jessica Lee Yantz in 2011 and they have a son, however, their marriage ended in divorce in 2014.
